I'm Emily, the heart and soul behind Emily Jean Events. As a passionate wedding planner based in Sydney, I live and breathe love stories, and nothing makes me happier than helping couples bring their dream weddings to life!
With a background in event management and a keen eye for detail, I've spent the past decade crafting unforgettable weddings that reflect the unique personalities and love stories of each couple I work with. My journey began with a love for a good celebration and a knack for organisation, which quickly blossomed into a fulfilling career dedicated to creating magical moments.

Pre Planning:
Initial Consultation | Budget Management
It all starts with a relaxed, in-depth chat where we get to know you as a couple and hear all about your vision for the day. We’ll talk through what matters most to you, your style, and the little details you’re excited about.
From there, we’ll help you shape a realistic budget that actually reflects your priorities, so you can plan with clarity and confidence from the very beginning.
Phase 1: Planning Elements
Venue Sourcing | Logistics Management | Vendor Sourcing
We start this stage by helping you find a venue that truly fits your vision, budget, and guest list; not just what looks good on paper, but what actually works for your day.
Once your venue is secured, we move into the finer details. This includes building your run sheet and floor plan so you can clearly see how your day will flow and how each space will come to life.
During this phase, we also lock in your non-negotiables and secure your key vendors, making sure the core elements of your wedding are in place and aligned with your vision.
Phase 2: Event Design
Styling Concepts | Design Board | Styling Team Sourced
This is where your wedding starts to feel real in a visual way. We take your ideas and inspiration and refine them into a clear styling concept that reflects your vision and the overall feel you want for the day.
Once you’re happy with the design direction, we build out your design board and move into production. From there, we source and confirm your styling vendors to bring everything together seamlessly.
Phase 3: Coordination
Final Meetings | Vendor Management | Event Brief
This stage is all about bringing everything together so your wedding day runs seamlessly. We’ll finalise your run sheet and event brief, refine any last details on your floor plan and seating, and make sure every element is confirmed with your venue and vendors. It’s the final polish, so everyone is aligned and you can head into the day feeling confident everything is taken care of.
Phase 4: Bump In Management
Bump in Management | Wedding Day Management
This is where everything starts to come to life. We’re on the ground making sure all your plans are set up exactly how they should be, coordinating the arrival of your vendors and overseeing every delivery and installation so nothing gets missed.
On the day, we’re there with you behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly, managing timing, and handling any unexpected hiccups so you can stay fully present and enjoy the celebration without having to worry about what’s happening in the background.
Phase 5: Bump Out Management
Bump Out Management | Hire Items Returned | Venue Handover
As your celebration comes to a close, we take care of all the behind-the-scenes wrap up so you don’t have to think about a thing.
We manage the bump out process, return any hired items, and ensure the venue is left exactly as required for handover. It’s all handled carefully and efficiently, so your day ends just as smoothly as it began; without you or your family needing to worry about logistics or clean up.
